Heather MacDonald Greene Multimedia Center
The Heather MacDonald Green Multimedia Center (HMGMC) is a place where you can learn, create, and share something unique and exciting. Come by the center to pick up a new skill, like graphic design in Adobe Illustrator. You can make a cool video using the recently updated production studio, featuring new professional photo backdrops and a teleprompter system. Or even hold a web conference call in one of our production rooms with professional lighting. The HMGMC provides the space, gadgets, and guidance for everyone to complete class assignments, take on personal projects, or maybe just go on a little creative adventure. And the best part: everything...other than 3D Printing...is FREE.
The HMGMC is located on the third floor of Kent Library, in Room 329.
Spring 2026 Regular Hours
Monday – Thursday:
10 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Friday:
10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Saturday – Sunday:
CLOSED
(Please refer to the Kent Library Hours page for holidays and exceptions.)
NOTE: We are closed January 5 - 9
for Winter Break. We will resume normal hours on Monday, January 12.
Reservations
Although not required, reservations are encouraged. You may reserve a room for up to 3 hours at a time. If more than 3 hours are needed, the reservation will need to be approved by HMGMC management. You will receive a confirmation email if approved.
