The ARC provides research help and access to information via the collections in the ARC, Kent Library, other libraries, and various databases. We provide a comfortable studying area and access to technology. We are also a drop off location for your Kent Library items, and those items requested from other libraries. You can even drop off your textbooks at the end of the semester.
Friendly staff will assist you in finding materials to meet your needs, whether it is finding a specific book or score for a class or finding credible sources for a research paper. Drop in or make an appointment for a research consultation.
Faculty and staff at the River Campus may put items on course reserve in the ARC for their classes. These are either required readings for a class, or supplemental materials. These items will have a limited checkout length.
You may return your textbooks (only those rented from textbook rental) during finals’ week of the Fall and Spring Semesters.
The ARC has comfortable seating areas for individual and/or group studying. Wi-fi is also available.
