The Collection Development and Acquisitions Unit is responsible for coordinating the process of ordering and adding books, media, and other items to the library’s physical and electronic collections.
How do I request that the library purchase materials for the collection?

Each academic department appoints a library liaison that serves as a communication channel between departments and the library for purchase of materials to add to the library collection. Each department also has a librarian assigned to it that can assist with acquisition related questions.
Through the Carrie Woodburn Johnson Endowment Funds, faculty members can request purchase of books and audiovisual materials for the library collection. Endowment requests must consist of one-time purchases (books, videos, etc.). Journals or other items with ongoing costs are not eligible for endowment request funding.
