Scope and Contents

From the Collection: Research papers and other documents created by students in Historic Preservation courses. These papers and reports are either individual projects or group projects mostly dealing with the history of individual people, properties, and regions of Cape Girardeau and Southeast Missouri. These include several National Register of Historic Places nominations. Projects are arranged by subject matter, then chronologically by date of project. The HP100 Oral History interviews are arranged by year, then alphabetically.

Restrictions

Some oral histories are restricted from publication and reproduction because they are not accompanied by a release form granting copyrights to Special Collections and Archives. As these release forms are updated these restrictions will be removed. These files are located in Box 1054 and may not be published, quoted or copied.
