De-Stress During Finals

Kent Library is offering a no-stress zone for students Saturday, December 14th through Wednesday, December 18th. This “zone” will be located in Sadie’s Place on the main floor of the library. Take a break from studying to color a picture, work on a puzzle, play a game or create an origami masterpiece. There may even be a punching bag for those who really need to relieve some tension. Special events for the week will include a paper airplane contest at midnight Sunday night/Monday morning from the 3rd floor balcony and a photo booth in the Heather MacDonald Greene Multimedia Center Tuesday night from 10 pm to midnight.

Digital artwork display at the Heather MacDonald Greene Multimedia Center

The Heather MacDonald Greene Multimedia Center is excited to announce the final showing of the semester entitled “Whatever”, an exhibition of a digital photos and videos. The body of work being showcased was created by students in Professor Emily Denlinger’s Art Photo/Video class. All work displayed was created using the tools available in the multimedia center.

An opening reception for the exhibition is planned for Friday, December 6 at 4:00 PM in the center. You are cordially invited to attend to see this diverse display of creative compositions. The exhibition will remain on display throughout the month of December.

In case of inclement weather, the reception will be cancelled and further notice will be posted.
