Kristallnacht or the “Night of Broken Glass”, depicts an outbreak of systematic violence against Jews on November 9 and 10, 1938 throughout the Nazi Germany Third Reich. Synagogues were destroyed and thousands of Jewish-owned shops were attacked and their windows destroyed. Ninety-one Jews were murdered and a further 30,000 arrested and incarcerated in concentration camps. This photographic display is available for viewing in Kent Library through December 14.
