Books
Books cover
virtually any topic, fact or fiction. For research purposes, you
will probably be looking for books that synthesize all the information
on one topic.
Libraries organize and store their
print book collections on shelves called "stacks."
Libraries often collect audio versions of books as well. Some books are now available online as e-books and are purchased by libraries. Free e-book sites
such as Project Gutenberg are accessible on the Web.
