Location: Kent Library Main Floor

Sadies Place, is named in honor of the first campus librarian, Miss Sadie Kent. Library patrons now have the opportunity to SIT, SIP, and SEARCH in a new cozy campus environment that is conducive to research, searching, and group study. Patrons can simply enjoy java among the journals, or sip a cup with Chaucer, Milton, and Shakespeare, who are always accessible in the building.

Peruse the new books and New York Times best sellers and over 100 current magazines, journals and newspapers on the browsing shelves. In addition, distributed throughout the area are eight computer stations for student research, and since the entire library is wireless, laptops, personal or library loaned, can be used to access online resources.

Chartwells Kent Coffee Cart provides a diversity of coffees, teas, bottled beverages, pastries, fruits, and snacks. The Kent Coffee Cart will have free coffee during the Open House Hour and they will also give away kisseschocolate ones. So come get Kisses@Kent.
