Use of Reference Consultation Stations

Use of Reference Consultation Stations

To be logged into the reference consultation stations, public patrons must be engaged in research which requires the use of Kent Library resources beyond those which are located via the Kent Library Catalog; e.g. the Library's databases or government documents.

Free internet access is available in the UC or in area public libraries.

Prior to being logged on, patrons must present a valid photo ID (Southeast ID, Missouri driver's license, Missouri non-driver's license ID, other current school ID, or other government-issued photo ID) and sign in on a logbook.

The logbook records patron's printed name, signature, home address (public patron) or Southeast Key (student), date, log-in time, log-out time, and workstation used.
