Research Consultations

We can help you select and use research tools, identify materials, and figure out how to cite them.  Contact a librarian for virtual assistance or in person appointment. Get quick help via chat, text, email, or phone. You can also stop by the Reference Desk on the 3rd floor of the library.

Accessing Databases from Off-Campus

Using your last name and Southeast ID number you have full access to all of the Library's subscription databases from any computer that has Internet Access.


Instruction

The Library provides information literacy instruction to any class or group.  Please allow one week for scheduling and preparation. Library faculty are also available to help with creating assignments.

Subject Research Guides are available for many academic majors.


Laptops & Wireless

Laptops are available for checkout to Faculty, Staff and Students for use in the building.

The Entire Library is wireless. 


Circulation

Circulation Policy for Graduate Students.

Items from Kent Library generally have longer checkout times versus materials MOBIUS (state wide consortium), or InterLibrary Loan.

You are able to renew your materials online via My Library Account, you do not need to call or come to the circulation desk.
