Bailey Photographs, Ralph E., circa 1900-1901. 4 items.  2008.049.
Three 11" x 14" and one 10" x 11 mounted photographs of students and faculty of the Missouri State Normal School--Third District.  The photographs belonged to Ralph E. Bailey of Bloomfield, Missouri, who was a member of the 1901 Senior Class, and show the students, faculty, Webster Society, and interior of "Old Normal," the main academic building on campus.

Bergeron Speech, Dr. Paul, 1969.1 item. 2001.009.
Recording of speech by Dr. Paul Bergeron given on behalf of Phi Alpha Theta, Southeast Missouri State University chapter. This was part of an all-day event of the Missouri chapters of Phi Alpha Theta that took place on May 10, 1969. Dr. Bergeron’s speech was given at the luncheon. Dr. Bergeron obtained his Ph.D. in History from Vanderbilt University in 1965. At the time of this lecture, he was a professor at the University of Tennessee, Memphis. Programs, booklets, correspondence, and a scrapbook about the statewide traveling exhibit of George Caleb Bingham’s artwork, meant to raise money for the purchase of the artworks for the state of Missouri. The collection especially focuses on the exhibit at Southeast Missouri State University’s Kent Library. Bingham (born March 20, 1811 – died July 7, 1879) was an American realist artist and Missouri statesmen. Many of Bingham’s works depicted life along the frontier of the Missouri River. *also listed as  Regional History Collection
