Series I:  Joseph A. Serena Correspondence
Consists primarily of letters to and from Joseph Serena covering his ministries in New York, Oklahoma, and California; his service to Keuka College, and matters of personal health and finance, the latter dealing with the management of agricultural holdings in Missouri.
 
Series II:  Virginia Hearne Serena
Consists primarily of the personal correspondence of Mrs. Virginia Hearne Serena, Josephs wife. Letters cover a variety of topics including family health concerns and church matters. The series also contains poetry and genealogical records, including the family tree of William C. Hearne.
 
Series III:  Financial Records 
Consists of miscellaneous financial records, including documents relating to the Serena farm near Lamar, Missouri. 
 
Series IV:  Miscellaneous
Consists of miscellaneous personal documents, invitations, and greeting cards together with a seminary bulletin and travel notes about Missouri.
